Launched in 2026, Watts on the Water is an annual series of boat parties celebrating the international communities of New York City. Slated as “kick off” cruises leading into important heritage celebration weekends, events are centered around music, food and experiences that intersect with the respective heritage days following.

The Kind Sun Initiative is a New York-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advances circular economy principles by diverting decommissioned commercial solar panels from large-scale North American installations and redeploying them at schools, cultural institutions, houses of worship, and low-income homes in Puerto Rico and across the Americas. By extending the productive life of solar infrastructure that would otherwise enter the waste stream, KSI delivers affordable, clean energy to underserved communities while reducing electronic waste. The initiative builds on post-hurricane community infrastructure work and active partnerships with labor and community organizations across the Western Hemisphere.
